Software Development Services

Senior engineers, embedded in your roadmap.

SummitWellspring Partners recruits, hires, and employs highly skilled software engineers — then assigns them to work directly for your teams. You get the capability of an in-house engineering group without the cost of building one.

The partnership model

We carry the employer side, so you can carry the product.

Most teams don't need another vendor relationship. They need engineers who show up to standup, own tickets end to end, and still feel accountable six months in. That is the only kind of placement we make.

  • We recruit and vet for your stack, your domain, and your delivery culture.
  • Every engineer is our employee — sourcing, hiring, payroll, benefits, and compliance sit with us.
  • Your leads set priorities, review the work, and run the day to day.
  • Capacity flexes with your roadmap, without restarting a vendor search each time.

What we deliver

Four ways we put engineering capability to work.

Each one is staffed by engineers we employ directly, scoped to what your roadmap actually requires rather than to a fixed package.

Embedded engineering teams

Individual engineers or full squads who join your sprints, your repos, and your review process as if they were headcount.

How a partnership takes shape

Four steps, and no mystery in any of them.

We would rather tell you exactly how a placement happens than ask you to trust a process you cannot see.

Define the work

We start with the work, not the résumé. What ships next quarter, which systems it touches, who reviews the code, and where the current team is stretched. That conversation becomes a written role brief you approve before we recruit anyone.

Recruit and vet

We source against the brief and run our own technical assessment — practical exercises in the stack you use, plus a structured review of how a candidate communicates and handles ambiguity. You interview a short slate and make the call.

Hire and embed

We employ the engineer, handle onboarding paperwork and equipment, and align them to your access, security, and compliance requirements. From day one they work inside your tooling and attend your ceremonies.

Sustain and scale

A named partner lead stays on the account: regular check-ins with your managers, continuing professional development for the engineer, and a straightforward path to add, change, or wind down capacity as your plans move.

Industries

Different sectors, the same standard of engineering.

We form partnerships with companies across multiple industries. Domain context is part of the brief, not an afterthought — regulatory constraints, legacy estates, and audit expectations shape who we put forward.

  • Engineers briefed on your domain vocabulary before their first sprint.
  • Security, privacy, and audit requirements written into the engagement.
  • Documentation and handover treated as deliverables, not favours.

What we hold ourselves to

Partnership is a standard, not a pricing model.

We measure a partnership by one thing — whether the engineers we place become people your team cannot imagine shipping without.

Continuity

Engineers stay on an account. We invest in their growth so the context they build with you compounds instead of resetting every few months.

Accountability

One named lead owns the relationship. If quality or fit slips, you raise it once and we move — including replacing a placement at our cost.

Range

Backend, frontend, data, cloud, mobile, and QA under one agreement, so adding a discipline doesn't mean sourcing a new supplier.
