Services

Engineering capability, shaped to the work in front of you.

We recruit, hire, and employ highly skilled software engineers, then assign them to work directly for our partner companies. The engagement shape changes; the standard of the people does not.

Core services

What a partnership can cover.

Most partners start with one of these and expand once the first engineers are delivering. Nothing here is a fixed package — each is scoped against a written brief you approve.

  • Embedded engineering teams

    Staff augmentation Dedicated pods
Two software engineers pair working at a desk beside a large window

Individual engineers or complete squads who join your sprints, your repositories, and your code review process. They attend your ceremonies, use your tooling, and are directed by your leads — while employment, payroll, benefits, and HR obligations remain ours.

    • Backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile, data, platform, and QA roles.
    • Single engineers for targeted gaps, or pods of four to eight with their own lead.
    • Ramp-up plan, access checklist, and 30/60/90-day review built into onboarding.
  • Custom software development

When you would rather hand over an outcome than manage a team, we take the specification and deliver the software. Greenfield products, platform rebuilds, API and system integrations, and migrations off tooling that has stopped earning its keep.

    • Discovery and written technical specification before a line of code is committed.
    • Automated tests, CI pipelines, and environment setup treated as part of the build.
    • Documentation and a working handover session so your team can own it afterwards.
  • Technical expertise

    Architecture Cloud & data Security
An architecture discussion in progress around a whiteboard

Senior input on the decisions that are expensive to reverse. We review what you have, say plainly what we would change, and stay available while your team acts on it.

    • Architecture and code reviews with a prioritised, costed remediation list.
    • Cloud strategy, infrastructure-as-code, and cost and performance tuning.
    • Data platform design, pipeline reliability, and reporting foundations.
    • Security hardening, dependency hygiene, and release-process review.
  • Project support

    Delivery QA DevOps
A project team reviewing delivery plans together at a table

The capacity that keeps a committed date intact when internal bandwidth runs out. Not a replacement for your team — reinforcement around it, for as long as the push lasts.

    • Delivery and project management for multi-team releases.
    • Manual and automated QA, regression suites, and release verification.
    • Build, deploy, and observability work to stabilise a shaky pipeline.
    • Technical writing: runbooks, API references, and internal documentation.

Engagement models

Three ways to contract the same quality of engineering.

Choose by how much of the delivery responsibility you want to keep. Partners frequently run more than one model at once.

Embedded engineer

Monthly rate per engineer. You direct the work, we remain the employer. Best when you have the management capacity and need the hands.

  • Rolling term with a defined notice period
  • Replacement at our cost if fit fails
  • Scales one engineer at a time

Dedicated pod

A cross-functional group with its own technical lead, aligned to one product area. You set the outcomes; the pod owns sequencing and delivery.

  • Four to eight engineers plus lead
  • Quarterly roadmap and sprint reporting
  • Discipline mix adjusts as the work shifts

Project-based

Defined scope, defined milestones, defined price. Suited to a build with clear boundaries and an agreed acceptance standard.

  • Fixed scope with a written change process
  • Milestone-based invoicing
  • Acceptance criteria agreed up front

Capabilities

The disciplines we recruit for.

We hire against what our partners actually run in production. If your stack is not listed, ask — the recruiting brief is written for you, not pulled from a shelf.

Standard in every engagement

The parts we never quote separately.

These are not add-ons or premium tiers. They are the reason a partnership holds together after the first release.

Hands sketching a system design on paper next to an open laptop
  • A written role brief — the work, the stack, the review process, and the success measures, agreed before recruiting begins.
  • Our own technical assessment — practical exercises in your stack, not trivia, run before any candidate reaches your interview loop.
  • Direct employment — we are the employer of record for every engineer we place; no subcontracting chains, no resold benches.
  • A named partner lead — one accountable contact for escalation, scheduling, and commercial questions.
  • Security and compliance alignment — background checks, confidentiality terms, and access controls matched to your policy.
  • Structured reviews — 30/60/90-day check-ins, then a standing cadence with your managers.
  • Documented work — commits, decisions, and runbooks left in a state your team can pick up without us.
  • A clean exit path — defined notice, knowledge transfer, and handover whenever an engagement ends.

Not sure which model fits?

Describe the gap in a few sentences. We will tell you honestly whether an embedded engineer, a pod, or a scoped project is the right answer — including when the answer is none of them.
